INJECTIONS UNDER WATER

It is quite common that cofferdams are filled again with water if a major leak is discovered. This is to counteract sand seepage and ruptures. As direct injection is no longer possible in such a case, we are dependent in such situations on an additional pair of eyes and hands underwater.

We have excellent contacts in the diving industry just for this type of injection work. Divers mainly carry out the preparation activities for us, such as, welding, drilling and cutting work.

When the injection activities are being carried out the diver can inspect the injection activities underwater and relay the progress of this to the injection crew on land. Thus, we complement our specialist crews with specialist civil engineering divers for underwater injection works.
