BACTERIA DO THEIR JOB!
September last year, we have applied BioSealing at sluice 'de Blauwe Dromer’ on behalf of the Province of Flevoland at the Veluwe Lake. This new application provides a solution to the seepage water problems around the sluice.
Deltares supervised the work and provided the study of the obtained results. To be sure, we therefore left the injection tubes stand. If injecting was necessary again, we could take
immediate action. Fortunately, Deltares conclude that these additional injections where not necessary, because the bacteria did their job! We have even begun to repair the damage caused by the seepage water. Under the floor of the sluice is a hollow space that we have filled with grout. The Cobouw has consistently reported the work.
This result is proof that BioSealing is a successful and environmentally friendly method to stop numerous leaks and seepage problems.
